Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there. Today I’m sharing a San Miguel Mission Wedding that I photographed. After all of the rainfall we received this year the hills were lush and green during the drive up through the Santa Ynez valley.
Most people know me for my wedding films but I also love photography and occasionally will photograph a wedding if the couple is the right fit. Cheryl and Russell were childhood friends and finally reconnected after all of these years. I’m sharing their photos today on Mother’s Day because they were also blessed last year to have a baby boy.
Their son Kanan was a big part of the wedding and naturally stole the show in his little baby tuxedo.
Russ and I have been friends since high school so it was fun hanging with them at their hotel in the morning. After they finished getting ready at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort it was a short drive through the green fields to the Mission.

The San Miguel Mission has incredible architecture and colors. The bride was glowing as she was escorted down the aisle.
