The Walnut Grove Wedding of Lindzey and Anson was one of my favorites from this year. I had such a great connection with this fun couple right from the get go.
I still remember when Lindzey first emailed me and how lovely she described the plans she and Anson already had in place for the wedding. We met for coffee and they told me about how they met and we just knew that it was a great fit. The best part was taking my wife and kids to meet up with them down at Balboa Island where we did a short video all about their love story. Then we let the kids lead us around the island to explore for ice cream and the ferry ride.
The wedding day seemed like it snuck up fast. Maybe it’s because of the love story video that I filmed at Balboa and knowing that the couple were going to watch it for the first time at the wedding but I was excited and tad nervous. Nervous because I wanted the day to be perfect for them.
If I had to pick one word to describe this lovely couple and their wedding it has to be “MAGIC”. They were just so sweet and tender with each other the entire day. Oh, and I finally got to meet their dog who just happens to be named Magic. Magic even got to be in the wedding and walk down the aisle.
