Intimate California Elopement Wedding

Celebrating Robin and Fawzi’s perfect pandemic elopement wedding today. THIS was the wedding I was waiting all year for!

Having shot their engagement photos last year in Camarillo I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding. They were so playful and fun together I knew the wedding was going to be special. Then a global pandemic hit.

Just two weeks out from their April wedding the couple had to postpone as the world shut down. Travel was restricted, venues closed and people sheltered in their homes. Things weren’t all bad. Remember Tiger King and the non-stop funny memes!

As we got closer to their new October wedding date some changes had to be made. Robin’s family, some traveling from Texas would not be able to attend. And Fawzi’s family would be unable to travel to California from Lebanon. Wanting to move forward with their lives, grow their careers and possibly start a family they choose an elopement wedding.

Even without their family and friends attending in person the day turned out to be perfection! In addition to photographing and filming the wedding we also live-streamed video of the ceremony, first dance and cutting of the cake. Enjoy some highlights of their film photographs.
